What is IV Poly MVA?
IV Poly MVA is an alternative therapy for cancer that is non-toxic and natural. The treatment is an intravenous dose of a charged liquid complex of ⍺-lipoic acid, palladium, thiamin and other vitamins1-3. Given that cancers typically stimulate angiogenesis, or the proliferation of vascular tissue, Poly MVA uses our blood supply into tumours to target dysfunctional cells. The complex is soluble in not only water but also fat, making it especially capable of reaching all the cells in our body, including the brain1-3. In our tissues, lipoic acid uses oxygen to generate energy while palladium donates that energy, making the complex a very effective scavenger of free radicals. This process supports the performance of normal cells by acting as an anti-oxidant. Yet, at the same time, the complex distresses cancer cells which are intolerant to the generation of oxygen1-3. As a cancer treatment, the therapy is safe and has no side effects.

How Does IV Poly MVA Work?
Because the vitamin-mineral complex is water and fat soluble, Poly MVA diffuses through all cell membranes1,2,3. Likewise, the molecule complex is able to cross nuclear membranes and the intricate blood-brain barrier. As a combination of vitamins and minerals, ⍺-lipoic acid uses oxygen to generate energy while palladium donates that energy to mitochondria in normal cells1-3. Mitochondria are considered the power house of the cell, or the main generator of energy. As we increase in age, we have fewer mitochondria and the remaining mitochondria are less productive. PolyMVA increases aerobic metabolism in aged tissue by increasing activity of enzymes in the Kreb Cycle by 225% and enzymes of the electron transport chain by 150%9,10. However, the complex controls energy within tumour cells, by reversing the flow of electrons1-3. Cell death is induced as cancer cells are forced to use excess energy under aerobic respiration1. Furthermore, Poly MVA is described to act on tumours as a “gene-restoring” nutrient by restoring the charge of the injured DNA molecules in cancer cells1-3. Lastly, the antioxidant complex also reduces oxidative stress in these tissues by: lowering lipid peroxidation, increasing glutathione levels, increasing glutathione reductase activity, and increasing glutathione catalase activity2,11.
