Winnipeg Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy treatment is the medical use of ozone for treating conditions. Ozone injections have been found to be an extremely safe medical therapy, and side effects are rarely experienced. In a 1980 study done by the German Medical Society for Ozone Therapy, 644 ozone therapists were polled regarding their 384,775 patients, comprising a total of 5,579,238 ozone treatments administered. There were only 40 cases of side effects noted out of this number which represents the incredibly low rate of .000007%. Considering that, at least 100,000 Americans a year die from drug reactions and interactions, ozone therapy is amazingly safe.

There are over 3000 medical references in the German literature showing the effectiveness, therapeutic benefits and safety of ozone.  In Europe ozone has been used for over 50 years by over 10,000 physicians.   In North America a small but growing number of Naturopathic and/or Medical doctors currently use medical ozone therapy.

How is Medical Ozone Therapy Delivered?

Ozone is generated, in office, using an ozone generator which turns pure oxygen into ozone of a particular concentration.

Ozone gas can not be bottled as it has a half-life of only 45 minutes.  Ozone is then delivered to the body in a number of different ways according to the condition being treated:

Intravenous ozone therapy (major autohemotherapy).

This delivers the ozone/oxygen mix into circulation and every cell of the body has exposure to the mix. Healthy cells that have enzymes can break down ozone into oxygen.

Ozone injections.

The area needing treatment is anesthetized and ozone is injected to the affected area. This treatment is called prolozone and was introduced by Dr. Frank Shallenberger, MD who taught the technique to many doctors including Dr. Ceaser.

Rectal ozone therapy.

Ozone gas is delivered into the rectum via a cunnula.  Ozone concentrations are set according to the case. A higher or lower concentration is administered according to the condition treated.

Instilled ozone therapy (insufflation).

Vaginal insufflations and direct instillation of ozone to the ear canal via ear buds can be performed.

Bagged ozone therapy.

Legs and arms can be treated using ozone.

Intramuscular ozone (minor autohemotherapy).

Intramuscular injections can be given with ozone for various purposes.

We also use ozonated olive oil.

Ozone can also be combined with IV EDTA chelation. This is called CheZone or CheloZone therapy.
